  This was the third stay at the Bell, (it would have been more if it had not been for Covid), no hassles at all, arrived, quickly shown to the room... read more and then a good night in the bar and restaurant.

The Room, we stayed in Fox, just right for our two night stay, lovely clean bed and sheets, shower was good and fully adjustable for temperature, the TV was good and had most channels, my only gripe is that the internet was a little weak but I was not there to work.

The Staff, all the staff we met were so positive and prompt, service with a smile, now with Covid and the restrictions it was table service, the waitresses were always there to take orders and deliver the drinks, perfect, no waiting for drinks.

The Food, top class, we loved every meal we had, in both main meals and sweets, the food was excellent. Restaurant service was great and timing was good.

Will we stay again, yes already booked for September.

But the service was welcoming, efficient and really first rate. The lady who served us was so helpful and we got served really quickly along a relaxed atmosphere.   We popped in for lunch on a busy Saturday. We had a great friendly welcome and staff were attentive even when very busy and we hadn't booked. We enjoyed olives... read more and then fish and chips and a burger. There was a wait but staff had informed us right from the start. It's a lovely pub with great attention to detail such as having blankets for outside tables. We really enjoyed our food and the friendly service . Thank you we will be back

The short rib of beef was melt in the mouth, a good sized, well priced portion of food. Not to mention the dessert, if their genius of a Greek chef has made her famous orange filo pie, make sure to leave some room, not to be missed!

It’s just been refurbished so everything was very clean and smart.

We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent, well cooked and good-sized portions.

There wasn’t a single thing to find fault with, breakfast was lovely with dishes from eggs Benedict and eggs florentine to a full English. Treats were provided for our dog at every meal and there’s even a doggie menu that includes a roast or fish and chips!

Exactly what you’d look for for a couple of nights exploring the Suffolk countryside.
